Tom Fruin's Amazing Watertower

Isn't this beautiful! Created in a multicoloured patchwork of salvaged plexiglass and steel, this water tower is part of Tom Fruins internationally recognised, 'Icon' series.
This is the sort of art outing the kids love as much as we do. The boys have hit the "gallery outing ugh" stage. This would be perfect.

'Watertower' is mounted on a platform on the rooftop of 20 Jay street Brooklyn, becoming part of the Dumbo skyline.

The best viewing locations are the Brooklyn Bridge Park at Washington Street and the Manhattan Bridge bike path.

During the day the tower is illuminated by the sun but at night the colourful glow continues because of a specially designed light sequence by Ryan Holsopple.
