Take a walk along the High Line and see the group exhibition 'Lilliput'. A collection of miniature sculptures installed in unusual places along the high line will make for a fun activity on your outing with the kids.

Go and see the Tim Burton retrospective at the Cinematique Francais. This is the retrospective conceived by the MOMA in New York. I missed it when it toured here but was told it is incredible. Definitely something fantastic to do with your slightly older kids.
