Mothers Day Gift Guide or The Things Mum Really Wants

With two weeks to go, the pressure is on. Kids start to pester Dad and generally Dad might find himself a bit stuck. The phrase "Its just another day" might find itself wiggling into his head.
They might need some guidance. Well here you go guys because its Mothers Day. And thats not just any day.
Just remember- no whitegoods or pots and pans. Unless she's specified of course, but although she wants them, she still wants something just for her.

* The Shopping Tote by Clare Vivier
The design is casual yet luxurious. It is a beautiful, unlined carryall that will age gracefully.

Each original print is silk screened by hand and completely unique. All pieces are signed by Rachel Castle.

* A set of Wishbone bangles from Dinosaur Designs
These are gorgeous and the more the merrier. I wear mine daily.

* The Bumblebee Necklace from Alex Monroe
So special. Honey? Me too me too.
available at Stem in Sydney and Anthropologie in the US

* A stack of Nathalie Lete plates
Yes I said stack. Stunning on the table or the wall and she will not think " Ugh crockery " I promise. She will swoon. And they are fine in the dishwasher-I have some.

* Some colour for her neck from Kristina Klarin
Handcrafted by artisans, these are quirky and feminine made from varnished wood.

available in Australia here

* Mother cushion from My Bearded Pigeon
This gorgeous cushion is made from organic cotton front and back. The print describes what mothering is, giving a broader acknowledgment of what it is to mother someone. A very special thing.

And dont forget to get the kids drawing up a storm for some cards too. Because its not Mothers Day without some handmade love!
