friday favourites

Just loving this idea! How proud would your kids be with their Lego creations displayed in a gallery on your walls?

I always liked to print out book labels when the big boys started school, but back then it was Martha Stewart. These by Helen Dardik are gorgeous and the good news is they are free! Download them here

Have a great weekend!

make me iconic

When we were young, we lived up the road from the ferry. My sister and I used to catch the ferry in to town (we didnt call it city back then!) all the time. My Dad rode the ferry to work. It was our "bus".

Now that my sister and I both have children and live across the world from each other, I'm a little thrilled that my niece can enjoy a Sydney ferry too. Even if its in the dry of her London bedroom.

Make Me Iconic also make a lovely Melbourne tram. Too much fun for the little people getting passengers on and off and both will look great displayed in their rooms too.

And an Aussie food puzzle! They had me at vegemite toast.....

I am really hoping they ship!

a cosy roof top home

Parisian couple, Matthew and Isabelle have done something that sounds a little impossible. They have turned the attic space in a former convent, from an apartment into a cosy house. Intrigued? It helps when you are both architects. Arsene is a very lucky boy.

Really Giant Posters came up with the wonderful idea of bringing together top UK childrens illustrators and creating a range of affordable and unique posters from their artworks. They are lovely and quite different to the range of graphic prints currently available for your childs wall. I really love the giant colouring in posters. A good range of styles and a great size for sprawling on the floor with a friend or two and whiling away the afternoon.

Who doesnt have a Micro Scooter? Seriously?? Well I think you might need to race out and grab one because once your small guy sees these 'Zooters' he will be jumping up and down for one.
So cute! I'm torn between the lion and the dinosaur.
