Whats On In Your City

Looking for something fun to do or see with the family? Today is the first in a monthly lineup of whats happening in your city.

-Sydney
Did you love the Chronicles of Narnia films? This exhibition will take you behind the                              scenes showing the costumes, props and set dressings used in the film series.

-Melbourne
Cardboard Play Spaces. This is an interactive exhibition from the first year Architecture students at Monash University. They have transformed cardboard into amazing structures including spaces for exploring, making and doing activities and a 'Kids Only' space. Very cool!
The exhibition runs from May 19th - June 3rd with a special workshop on May 27th.

-London
Take the bigger kids on a tour of the Olympic site. A great way to get the kids involved with whats been taking over their city in Olympic fever. They are also running nighttime tours for something a little different. Apparently the best view to be had of the Olympic village is from the Olympic store on level 3 in John Lewis in the Westfield at Stratford City!

-New York
Head over to MoMA and take part in a workshop or have fun in the interactive labs. Great ways to experience art together and for the kids to experiment. They also have a fantastic looking program for your teenager where they can listen to artists talk, take part in workshops, watch films or attend a free class.

-Paris
Discover the tombs of Tutan Khamon and his treasures. An incredible reconstruction awaits at the Tutan Khamon expo.
Visit Disneyland Paris. There is lots happening there as it is the birthday year.
Stand back and watch your child gleefully go around and around on on of the cities gorgeous Merry-Go-Rounds. Its a beautiful thing to do.
'The Supermarket' (as in fabulous) is a bulk sale of designer decor, fashion, artworks, children's workshops and concerts. Milk magazine is a partner in this great event.

Please send me an email and tell me about whats happening in your city if you'd think I'd like to share it here!
